New UI Direction (Iris)


While we have been working on developing UI in different ways, it seems like our players were having mixed reactions on how immersed they were in the story. We knew that UI had to be in a streamlined fashion that was intuitive to the player and after I had decided to add UI to alert the player that there was an inventory system, I had the idea that it might be nice for the player to be able to ask for "help". So I decided to add another button/keyboard shortcut that tells the player some helpful things. With this new UI, the player can clearly see what items need to be found and where they need to go next to progress the story.
